Parish Forum: Helping our Refugee Families and Friends, 23 March 2019
Save the date!
On Saturday 23 March 2019, Catholic Social Services Victoria is hosting a parish forum on the topic, Helping our Refugee Families and Friends at the Cardinal Knox Centre, East Melbourne, 9.30am-1pm. This follows the very successful parish forum
on the same topic held in August in 2018.
The forum will focus on how parishes can transform
their desire to help asylum seekers and refugees into practical action,
engaging their parish and co-operating with other parishes to maximise
support. Forum sessions will be highly interactive, to harvest the good
and best ideas, and to develop effective strategies for implementation.
Make sure you set aside this date or book your place now, here.
Participants at the August forum made the following comments:
“I was feeling hopeless as to what I could do. Now I feel re-invigorated and ready to try again”.
“Excellent! Message needs to be widely heard. This was the best and most informative forum”.
Flyer to come!
