The Catholic Social Services Victoria community was saddened to hear of the death of Sr Margaret Costigan RSC last week.
Margaret was a long term and active member of CSSV as Coordinator of Project Dreaming Tracks which has been in existence since 2002. Through her compassion, determination and creativity she facilitated community leadership of the Project which supported and encouraged many marginalised people to discover their own pathways to stability and confidence through creative and community endeavours.

The annual indigenous art show at St Francis’ Pastoral Centre during Reconciliation Week was  a major activity of the Project which showcased the stories and talents of many of the clients of Project Dreaming Tracks.

Margaret was tireless in her pursuit of justice and respect for all, and especially for those who had “slipped under the welfare radar”.

May her strong and generous spirit rest in peace.
