The Men's Project - reducing violence and other harmful behaviours

Jesuit Social Services’ Men’s Project has been established to provide leadership on the reduction of violence and other harmful behaviours prevalent among boys and men, and to build new approaches to improve their wellbeing and keep families and communities safe.

The Men’s Project aims to promote positive social change around gender and what it means to be a man in the 21st Century. With this, it aims to reduce violence and other harmful behaviours by men and boys and to improve men’s wellbeing and relationships. Drawing on extensive experience working with boys and men, the project incorporates a holistic approach and includes strong partnerships. The voice of people affected by violence informs all Jesuit Social Services' work.
