uncertainty. Many more are detained on Nauru and Manus Island, with
others “free”, with nowhere to go. Self harm, suicide and death are common.

increase awareness of current issues and what parishes can do to help.
Glendenning AM, Director of the Edmund Rice Centre for Justice and Community
Education, and President of the Refugee Council of Australia will join us for
the forum. Phil was recently awarded the Order of Australia medal for service to the community through social welfare
