Homelessness – What can Parishes do?

Dear friends leading parishes,
On Saturday 8 June, 2019 Catholic Social Services will host its next forum “Homelessness – What can Parishes do?”.  This will be at Cardinal Knox Centre, 383 Albert Street, East Melbourne, from 9.30am-1.00pm.
Parishes are already contributing in various ways – providing accommodation, social support, financial support for support agencies – but they can find it hard translating good ideas into practice, and maintaining momentum. This forum will be an opportunity for parishes to be inspired and learn from each other, as well as from agencies active in this space.
It would be appreciated if you can join us on 8 June, and encourage others to come. It would also be appreciated if you could place a note along the following lines in your parish bulletin.  A flyer and program for the forum is attached for your noticeboard, website, etc.
