Walking the Land with Catholic Social Teaching, 2 May 2019
All are invited to take part in the City Justice Walk as part of the 'Walking the Land with Catholic Social Teaching' series on Thursday 2 May 2019, from 9.30am-4.30pm.
The City Justice Walk provides a practical experience of applying the principles of Catholic Social Teaching to promote the flourishing of creation and the building of a more just and compassionate society. Come along for a day of personal challenge and enrichment, which will resource you to work with others for a deeper integration into your work of these fundamental principles.
Those attending will explore a range of new perspectives of the guiding principles of Catholic Social Teaching under the banner of Pope Francis' "integral Ecology".
Venue: Gathering at Flagstaff Gardens (corner LaTrobe Street and
William Street) then onto St Francis' Pastoral Centre, Lonsdale Street,
by lunchtime. Lunch will be provided.
via TryBooking, here
The day is facilitated by Catholic Social Services Victoria, Edmund Rice Ministries and Presentation Sisters and follows a successful 'City Justice Walk' in February
with many of the executive staff of St John of God Hospital, Berwick.
