NDIS Evaluation Workshop, 17 January 2019
During 2019 Catholic Social Services Victoria aims to focus on NDIS in a way that will identify opportunities for members to share their experience, develop their knowledge, understanding and practice, to ensure better outcomes for the people they serve.
As an initial step, members and friends are invited to participate in an evaluation workshop led by the
Brotherhood of St Laurence
(BSL) on Thursday 17 January, 10am-11.30am in East Melbourne. The BSL are undertaking an evaluation of the following NDIS services they provide:
Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) gateway program:
Early Childhood in North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland, Bayside Peninsula, Brimbank Melton, and Western Melbourne. This service is available to all children aged 0-6 years with a developmental delay or disability across Victoria.
Local Area Coordination (LAC):
Local Area Coordination (LAC) in North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland, Bayside Peninsula, Brimbank Melton, and Western Melbourne. This service is the main point of contact for NDIS for most people aged 7 and above.
The workshop will provide members the opportunity to:
provide feedback to the Brotherhood of St Laurence about their experience of the programs
learn about these two programs.
The workshop is relevant to any groups working with, or interested in working with, the NDIS and wanting to contribute to the future direction on of the two programs.
There will also be an opportunity to identify further activities and forums that CSSV can develop for members over 2019.
