RASP Invitation Seminar & Coversation 1 June 2018

The University of Divinity's Centre for Research in Religion and Social Policy (RASP) invites you, to two important and different events to be held on Friday 1 June at Collins Street Baptist Church (174 Collins Street, Melbourne).
1.       A two-hour interactive seminar from 3:30-5:30pm on Friday 1/6 on Religious Liberty with Fr Frank Brennan SJ AO, to give an in-depth view of the Ruddock Report to be released on 18 May of this year.

This is a chance to think together about how churches should respond to the Ruddock Report in person, institutionally, in the media.

2.       The second annual RASP Public Conversation will be held in the church from 6:30-8:30pm, on the topic Religious Liberty.

Speakers include Fr Frank Brennan SJ AO, a member of the Ruddock Committee giving an insider’s view; Dr Sharon Rodrick, of the Institute for Civil Society and Reverend Dr Robyn Whitaker, Lecturer in New Testament at Trinity College, University of Divinity responding.

There will be questions from former ABC radio host John Cleary to the panel and email questions from the audience for the panel for 20 minutes per segment.
