CatholicCare Tasmania position available: General Manager - Family and Community Services

CatholicCare Tasmania is a Community Sector organisation whose foundation is built on Catholic Social Teaching. It is a 'people' business established by the Catholic Church to deliver on the Church's social welfare obligations, as part of its broader mission. The agency offers a diverse range of support services to the community across the areas of social and affordable housing, counselling and tenancy support, children's services and out of home care services. 
An opportunity is now available for a General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Family and Community Services Business Unit. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide strategic, operational and performance leadership through the development of opportunities and programs which encourage the achievement of positive outcomes.
You will be contributing to the formation of strategies, priorities, work standards and resource allocation to achieve the highest quality service delivery, meet established performance targets and maintain appropriate effective relationships with government and non-government agencies and stakeholders.
To succeed in this position, you will be passionate and people-focused with true leadership ability. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to advance productive working partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.  You will have high level experience in operational management, leadership, financial, human and physical resource management, and a sound understanding of social issues relevant to Family and Community Services.
