NDIS information forum - 8.00am, Friday 15 December

Implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is well underway, but there is much to be done before the rollout is complete, and many issues to be resolved. Many service providers and people with disability are still on steep learning curves. For some service providers, working with the NDIS is core business, and a major focus of Board and executive time.

But the size and reach of the scheme, it’s multiple points of intersection with areas such as mental health and housing, and its design features, are such that all of us need to keep abreast of developments.

We are therefore grateful to leaders in the sector for making time available to update members and friends on the NDIS rollout and its implications for service providers.

You are invited to join a forum with David Moody, State Manager - Victoria, National Disability Services and Tony Hollamby, CEO, St John of God Accord who will present and lead discussion on:

- The NDIS today – where it is, where it’s heading, some of the key issues being faced (David Moody)

- Learnings from the experience of service providers (Tony Hollamby)
