Pope Francis Fellow 2017 Program: Two Seminars: 23 June and 24 June 2017

Friday 23 June: 5pm - 6.30pm
Listening to Pope Francis: Challenging Nationalism, Market Rule & Overconfidence in Technology. 
Friday 24 June: 10am - 1PM
Presenter for both Seminars is Bishop Robert McElroy, a native of San Francisco who did his graduate studies in the field of Catholic Social Teaching, obtaining a licentiate in theology from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, a doctorate in moral theology from the Gregorian University in Rome and a doctorate in political science from Stanford.  He is the Bishop of San Diego an a strong advocate for the care of the poor, especially the over 200,000 undocumented migrants in his diocese.
