The Victorian Bishops released a statement on 29 November 2016 condemning domestic and family violence in the strongest possible terms, and have called on the whole Church community to work together in preventing violence. This is part of the Gospel vision of love and respect."
Advent - A Time of Waiting
Advent is about learning to wait. It is about not having to know exactly what is coming tomorrow, only that whatever it is, it is of the essence of sanctification for us. We learn in Advent to stay in the present, knowing that only the present well-lived can possibly lead us to the fullness of life.
