Andrew Chan, Myuran Sukumaran and their companions did not deserve to die - life is sacred, and execution is not a just punishment.  May they now rest in peace, and may their families and those close to them be consoled by the support they have received from the broader community.

Council to Homeless Persons, with Melbourne City Mission  and Hope Street Youth and Family Services, launched the April edition of Parity entitled Too Much Too Young: Responding to Young People at Risk of Homelessness at Melbourne City Mission on 15 April 2015.

This edition of Parity highlights the recent research undertaken by Paul Flatau (UWA CSI) and colleagues nationally that underlines that young people leaving out-of-home-care, are at far greater risk of becoming homeless. This research focussed on the personal and social costs of youth homelessness.
